FAIRcraft - Aircraft Seat

With the goal of developing a Cradle-to-Cradle lightweight seat for aviation, the most sustainable and lightest seat was developed together with BFGF. A completely new and disruptive solution was found based on straps.

Together with traceless, we are developing injection-molded disposable items such as cutlery or packaging parts from an innovative natural polymer material. Part of our development service includes a comprehensive LCA that provides key data
on ecological performance.

The Foamlite project investigated the possibility of making aviation catering equipment lighter and more sustainable. A CO2 emission reduction of 23% (Cradle-to-Gate) was achieved.
